summary
Perched
immediately above the beach, this cottage overlooks Lake Michigan from the
end of a deep site. A gracious arrangement of covered porches and exterior
decks integrate the landscaped lawn with interior spaces. The main living
space extends to a full height of two stories, surrounded by smaller, more
intimate spaces. Exposed wood trusses, traditional wood detailing and robust
cobblestone fireplaces and piers enhance the relaxed quality of this summer
retreat.
