The design of this project responded to the following design objectives:
- clear definition of the entry for the school
- provision for the growing needs of the school and church
- secure and convenient drop-off for pre-schoolers and kindergarteners
- creation of a junior high ěpodî with the addition of a new science classroom
- flexible, multipurpose space for extracurricular parish needs as well as the schoolís art and music programs
- upgrade to meet the City of Grand Rapids parking and storm detention requirements
- integration of teaching and outdoors by improving the landscape |
