The design of this third floor suite in the Brass Works Building, a renovated downtown loft, preserves the character of the existing timber frame structure. Enclosed conference rooms and offices are set to the sides, allowing a generous window area to surround the open office space at the center of the plan. A partial height wall and a reception desk denote the entry area without obscuring the open office beyond. To complement the character of the existing brick and wood, materials and finishes were carefully selected and the mechanical and electrical equipment were left exposed.
