While AMDG is dedicated to pursuing lasting, quality architecture as a firm, the team also recognizes the value of outside counsel. Inspired by Proverbs 15:22, “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed,” the AMDG Advisory Council was created as a means to gather outside opinions on all aspects of the business. The members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and occupations. Their goal is to provide AMDG with broader input from a wider range of professionals. Topics range from strategic planning and marketing to spiritual matters and visions for the future. Council members are not board members, nor do they have any ownership in the company. Meetings are held annually, with members volunteering their time because they are committed to AMDG's success both professionally and spiritually.
